We are seeking a motivated Entry-Level Event Assistant to join our growing events and marketing team. This role involves supporting live events, nonprofit fundraisers, and promotional campaigns through hands-on setup, guest engagement, and on-site coordination.
This is an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to start a career in event planning, marketing, public relations, or nonprofit outreach. No prior experience is required—full training is provided.
Responsibilities
- Assist with setup and breakdown of events, booths, and promotional displays
- Support event staff and managers during live activations and campaigns
- Engage with attendees, donors, and customers in a professional manner
- Distribute promotional materials and assist with brand awareness efforts
- Help manage event flow, registration, and attendee sign-ins
- Maintain organized, clean, and well-prepared event spaces
- Represent client brands and nonprofit partners positively
- Provide general support to ensure successful event execution
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings
- Comfortable working in fast-paced, public-facing environments
Preferred (Not Required)
- Customer service, retail, or hospitality experience
- Interest in event planning, marketing, PR, or nonprofit work
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
